Arctic Sea Ice Took a 3 Day Holiday From Melting

On day 166 Arctic Sea Ice was 11.13067 million sq km. On day 169 (3 days later) it is still above that at 11.13383 million sq km.

  1. Day 169–A slight decline to a new NH Minimum, the difference was in, yes of course, losses in Beaufort and Greenland Seas. So it goes in the melt season.

    A gain in East Siberia, holding steady in Hudson Bay, the Archipelago and the Central Arctic.

  2. Day 170-NH ice extent bounces back adding more than 60,000 Km2. Greenland Sea extent is now 91% of max the highest since day 145. Siberian Sea added also, now 96% of max, the highest since day 138.
