The Antarctic ice increased steadily from 2011 to 2013, with a “pause” (with oscillations) in 2014.
This correlates well with the low solar radiations of the present cycle and the cooling trend of the world’s climate since 2007.
Even with radiations not so low, as in 2011-13 period, the cooling continued, as evidenced by the increasing average ice of the polar regions.
I believe it’s possible to prove that in 2007-2010 the cooling was accelerating.
This year and the following of this cycle, the ice of the polar regions will probably grow even faster than in the 2011-14 period, due to the natural decline of the solar cycle.
