What we dream now will be possible in a few years. All technologies renovables and electric cars are running really fast. Prices are getting cheaper every year too. All this changes are good. No reason to be scared. New jobs will come and a new economy is possible. It happened with the industrial revolution, and it will be much better nowdays. Anyway, it will happen, so better relax and enjoy the trip.

One other thing. Electricity is no energy. They still need fossil fuels for cars etc.
I live in a place where 95% of the electricty comes from Hydro. Lucky geography.
