Thank you for pointing out that 2012’s extreme low extent was NOT the result of a runaway melting Arctic, but of sustained winds blowing old, thick ice out through the Fram Strait. The narrative between the two cannot be more divergent, yet the former is a lie while the latter is reality.
Let’s just say that the trend of the past couple days continues, and on day 250 we’re matched with the 2013 extent, and the summer melt is over. Within days a whole slew of climate alarmists sorts are going to be looking for ways to show that they need to update [adjust] the data. Or, studies will be quickly be thrown together theorizing on how AGW is currently causing the shift.
