Its doesn’t look like its melting too much on day 239 since 2007.

In the Arctic it is 1.2 million sq km higher than it was in 2012 on the same day.

2012 2016 2007 2011 2015 and 2017 were lower than 2018.

As we approach lowest period for Arctic Sea  Ice, note that 2018 is 1,000,000 sq km higher than 2012.

And 2018 is hgher than 2012 2007 2016 2017 2011 2015.

2012 is as low as it is because of a massive cyclone.
