Wind Turbines: 39,000,000 Dead Birds and Bats Per Year in USA

Environmentalists are Evil.

“As Paul Driessen, Mark Duchamp and others have concluded, based on careful bird and bat mortality studies in Spain and Germany, it is highly likely that the 40,000 US wind turbines are killing between 13 and 39 million birds and bats every year – including hundreds of bald and golden eagles, thousands of hawks, falcons, owls and other raptors, and dozens of extremely rare whooping cranes!”

And when some greenie says that cats kill more birds, ask them how many Raptors “Fluffy” manages to kill.

  1. If the wind industry wanted the number of birds killed to be known, they would aim their 24 hour surveillance cameras at the blades, to capture each trauma, rather than “protecting” their birdchoppers from vandalism. Any neighbours, close to turbines, could do this just to prove the point.

  2. Typical greens, any excuse to push the renewable energy. It doesn’t matter how many birds are killed by the cats as this is a natural cycle. The killing of birds by turbines is man made.

The initiator of the global warming issue was the Club of Rome with it’s first report “The Limits to Growth” (1972) where it reads on page 73.
“If the energy source is something other than incident solar energy (e.g., fossil fuels or atomic energy), that heat will result in warming the atmosphere, either directly, or indirectly through radiation from
    water used for cooling purposes.”.

Actually, if you take that statement seriously, then turning wind into energy would be excluded too. As soon the cooling wind is turned into energy the result is direct and indirect heat. You need a lot of turbines to replace one coal fired power plant.

  3. There is no safe distance for wind Turbines, NOT GREEN, NOT CHEAP, NOT RELIABLE, and come with a very BAD side EFFECT on people and the ENVIRONMENT. there is Nothing GREEN about TURBINES. SAY NO TO WIND TURBINES.
