It’s rather amazing that the Arctic Ice is thickening, as per -> http://psc.apl.washington.edu/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/schweiger/ice_volume/Bpiomas_plot_daily_heff.2sst.png , but the extent is just up 2M km. The winds must compress the ice into a thicker multi-year ice mass. Reply
