Day 266: MASIE shows another major gain of ~60,000 Km2 to 5.21 M, confirming the 5.07 M minimum on day 262. Most regions are holding or growing extent, with only Kara and Barents showing slight declines. NOAA also shows a rise of 44,000 Km2 to 5.11 M for Sept. 23, 2014. Reply
