Presumably alarmists are saying that the “random fluctuation” (which they’ve apparently never mentioned before, at least not one of this length) won’t last? Knowing how they operate, temps could remain flat for another 60 years or so, and they’d still be claiming “random fluctuation”.
I think they are getting excuses ready for when the AMO goes negative.

1) Now, they are saying “natural variability” is more powerful than manmade impacts.
2) And, what is their proof—wait for it—-computer models!
Both their logic, and their science, are so hilariously twisted as to be the makings of a good TV sitcom someday.
