NSIDC is truncated at day 91 due to satellite problems. But they are updating the ftp site. Maybe in preparation of going live again.

JAXA always runs lower than NSIDC. AND NSIDC mostly runs lower than MASIE.

Interesting how the divergence is greatest during the freezing season: on average satellite sensors show 600 to 800k km2 less than MASIE. Remember MASIE works with a 40% ice coverage on 4 km cells vs. NOAA with 15% ice on 25 km cells.
