Wind and solar not meeting the needs of South Australia, where the state is currently at 40% renewables. Meanwhile, the neighbouring state of Victoria plans to decommission a coal-fired power plant shortly, accounting for 20% (25%?) of its generation capability. Seriously poor decision making. Aussie federal government standing by to watch, no leadership. This country ought to have as much cheap electricity as we want.
