  1. If alarmists are so worried about the Arctic melting, why not seed the waters with dry ice (solid CO2)?

    a) It’s abundant.
    b) It’s currently left to be vented into the atmosphere.
    c) The colder waters of the Arctic are capable of holding more CO2 than tropical waters.
    d) More CO2 at depth provides more food for phytoplankton, the basis of the food chain in the Arctic.
    e) Dispersal at the surface will cool to depths as low as 50 meters or lower (based on size of the dry ice seeded.)
    f) Cooling surface waters will lead to faster ice growth.
    g) More ice creates stronger zonal air flows, greater albedo effects, and habitat for polar bears.

    All in all, it’s a win-win-win-win.
