Sea Ice Update May 9 2014 – Antarctic 61st Daily Record of 2014 – Global Sea Ice 824,000 sq km Above Normal

A quick update for sea ice extent for day 127 of 2014:

  • Global Sea Ice Extent is 824,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean.
  • Antarctic Sea Ice Extent is 1,458,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean.
  • Arctic Sea Ice Extent is -634,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean.

  1. Remember, they changed the baseline last year, from 1979-2000 to 1979-2010. Since the Antarctic sea ice was in expansion during those 10 years, they essentially moved the average upward.

    Even so, with the Sun “gone quiet”, we are entering a new ice age. It is going to happen fast, with records in sea ice both Arctic and Antarctic “blowing peoples minds.” Don’t expect the Liberal Media and/or Obama to stop their foolish push for reduced CO2 at the expense of the automotive and energy sectors. The real negative effects of the Liberal agenda are being pushed by executive orders and the EPA.
