Odd that both poles should jump like that, it certainly suggests that the data was not “Quality Controlled” before being issued. Reply
The National Snow & Ice Data Centre (NSIDC) reports that they are having problems with a satellite. They show the same anomalous spikes in both their Arctic and Antarctic data. http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/ Reply
