NOAA USA October 2014 Max Temp – Tied For 8th With 1927! Only 1963,1947,1950,1953,1938,1934 and 2003 Were Hotter

Wow. According to the NOAA October 2014 was 8th Hottest Max Temperature.

Tied with 1927.

Only 1963, 1947, 1950, 1953, 1938, 1934 and 2003 Were Hotter.

October 1963 was 3.9F hotter. Sneaky global warming.

1963 73.47°F 120 6.67°F
1947 71.42°F 119 4.62°F
1950 70.72°F 118 3.92°F
1953 70.34°F 117 3.54°F
1938 70.00°F 116 3.20°F
1934 69.75°F 115 2.95°F
2003 69.71°F 114 2.91°F
1927 69.57°F 113 2.77°F
2014 69.57°F 113 2.77°F

  1. I have a difficult time believing the crap NOAA puts out these days. Adding in additional data sets from locations “around the globe” which weren’t part of the original data set back in 1900 is meaningless. Just like all the oceanographic temperatures being pulled from cargo ships, etc. to give a more accurate picture of the bulk (70%) of the global temperature profile.

Only problem is that we as humans don’t live on the water. We don’t live on Antarctica either, and to a large extent the vast majority of Australia, Siberia, Canada, Mongolia, and the Sahara. We’re packed tightly together to a large extent, and those are the places at which temperature recordings make the most sense.

Antarctica has smashed sea ice extent records this year; the so-called “experts” say that global warming is going to reduce not only ice but the temperature gradient between polar regions and latitudes >60 degrees, I don’t see that happening. It’s still an agenda to take money from developed nations and give it willy-nilly to third-world economies to squander, when, if those scientists were truly concerned about the planet’s health, all that money would be spent moving us towards a renewable energy society. It’s as criminal to demand retribution that is then wasted as it is to “deny” climate change, period.

  2. Yes, as you say, we are packaged tightly together into cities that are demonstrably warmer than anywhere else. And we seem the like it since we stay here. So what is the fuss about?
