Despite the forces of nature and in spite of the opportunistic efforts of professional opponents, a large nuclear power station located in the middle of Hurricane Harvey’s devastation continues to steadily produce 100% of its rated power output.

Texas 2012 Hottest Year Ever (Tied with 1921)

It only took Texas 91 years to tie 1921 as the hottest year ever.

Notice that 1976 was 4.5F colder than 1921/2012 and 1979 was 4.3F colder than 1921 and 2012.

No wonder there was an ice age scare in the late 1970s.
