NOAA – 246 Low Max Records Broken or Tied From Sept 1 to Sept 10. Some records broken by 16F

Update: Antarctica is setting records for sea ice too.

246 Low Max Records Broken or  Tied From Sept 1 to Sept 10 according to the NOAA.

A “Low Max” means that the maximum temperatures for the day was the lowest it has ever been. This indicates daytime cooling.

Below is a screenshot showing location and the biggest difference between old record and new record.

The list is just the ones I could capture in a screenshot.

  1. Not to worry. After the “climate scientists” get through homogenizing (adjusting) the data records the cold temperatures will turn into record hot temperatures. If they manage to sell the homogenized numbers it will be called proof certain of climate change. If they fail to sell the adjusted numbers they will say that this is just weather and means nothing.

  2. Reblogged this on The Cutting Edge and commented:
246 low maximum temperature records have been broken or tied between September 1 and September 10, 2014. Global sea ice, as recorded as of September 13 is 23,000 square km above normal. Arctic sea ice extent at the same date is well below normal, while Antarctic sea ice extent has set a new all time record.
