In the spirit of your 2014 linked story:
Oct 2017 – Only 1910, 1901, 1933, 1933, 1952, 1973, 1999, 1915, 2007, 1910, 2015, 1940, 1931, 1921, 1944, 2014, 1956, 2010, 1927, 2003, 1934, 2016, 1938, 1953, 1947 and 1963 were hotter.
CO2 is very selective where and when it manifests itself….case in point, last Nov in Alberta was GW, this year it is weather….
