These are the NOAA rankings by state for maximum temperatures for July 2015.
A rankingof 121 would be the highest. 1 would be the lowest.
Nevada was ranked 7th. That means only 6 July’s in Nevada were colder.
All those blue and white states had a pretty cold July.

1936 was ranked 121 (121 is hottest) and was 4.93F hotter than 2015.
2015 was only ranked 34.

According to the NOAA, 2014 precipitation in California was -2.46″ below the 1901-2000 average.
That is Only 11%. What Megadrought? (The real problem is a doubling of population and no big dams built since 1982).

Imagine … the old record was 51F and it is now 23F. A 28F difference.
Some of the records broken were over 100 years old.
